Earlier this month, Royal Interactive Studios brought in an 8-piece mariachi band for the BOOK OF LIFE digital campaign,#MARIACHIMYTWEET. The band selected songs from tweets sent into the Book of Life Movie Twitter account and “mariachi-fied” them, filmed it, and sent back out to into all social media channels. Cast members like Ice Cube and Channing Tatum tweeted in funny statements like “Lets Do This” and fans sent in hilarious requests like “Jake Gyllenhall Why Won’t You Love Me?”  It was a ground breaking campaign as ROYAL Studios and FOX DIGITAL were turning around mariachi-fied uploads in relative real time. Mack Sennett Studios served as the perfect home for this challenging digital marketing stunt.
